Insight evolves into the blueprint for interaction design during the Refinement phase.

Our Design Research team shares key findings with Design Exploration specialists, who begin inventing forms.

They collaborate to brainstorm, whiteboard, and sketch their ideas. From those early thoughts, the foundation takes shape in product maps, workflows and wireframes that articulate the informational architecture and navigational structure of the project.

But this phase isn't a hand-off from Research to Exploration. Our researchers remain involved, conducting user walkthroughs and testing user communities throughout the process to validate interface design concepts and guarantee that human feedback continues to influence iterative design.

With form and function finalized, Design Exploration specialists move into the aesthetic realm, generating mood boards and applying aesthetics.

As in all our endeavors, aesthetics at Electronic Ink are user-driven and purposeful. Our Designers are expert in deploying visual cues and cultural motivators, and they leverage client brand attributes to support business goals and amplify brand value.
